Trogon Tours leads nature photo tours to some of the most wildlife rich locations on earth including Ecuador and South Africa. The tour leaders, Nate Chappell and Ken Archer are world class bird and wildlife photographers. We also lead educational photo workshops in the United States. Our tours and workshops are focused on photographing birds and animals in the wild and helping you become a better photographer. Group size is small, anywhere from 2 to 10 participants per tour. Participants will take home a lot of great images, memories and photographic knowledge from our trips.
Join Nate to photograph the unique birds and wildlife of the Galapagos. This is a hotel based photo tour as opposed to a cruise which gives us more flexibility and time with our locations and subjects. Photograph the iconic species of the Galapagos in the wild - Blue-footed Boobies, Marine and Land Iguanas, Galapagos Tortoises and many others. Enjoy a day of hummingbird and tanager photography near Quito before we fly to the Galapagos.
